THE STORY OF CREATION
As Told by Theology and Science
by T.S. ACKLAND
The Story of Creation is an early creation science work by T.S. Ackland (Thomas Suter Ackland - 1817-1892). It is one of the first creation science works, and it bridges the emerging scientific disciplines of cosmology, biology, and physics. In a rather swift fashion, T.S. Ackland connects Christian theology to a more accurate expression of the natural sciences.
Ackland undermines Darwin's theory of evolution with logical arguments and a close examination of his theory. He applies anthropology and physiology masterfully, and demonstrates that the theory fails in multiple ways that even the laymen can easily understand.
" If there is reason to believe that the Bible is the Word of God, just as the universe is His Work, then we may well expect that each of them will throw light upon and help us to a right understanding of the other. And if there be one part beyond all others in which this may be confidently looked for, it is that part in which the Divine Architect describes His own work. "
